Join us on Wednesday, March 12 at 6 p.m. to be one of the first diners at Mazi.


Join Unpretentious Palate on Wednesday, March 12 at 6 p.m. at an exclusive preview of Mazi, a new South End shared plates Mediterranean-focused restaurant managed by Built On Hospitality! Get to experience the restaurant before the rest of the city and share your thoughts with the chefs behind it. You won’t get this personal experience any other night!

Guests will get to sample a selection of items from Mazi’s menu and get to know some of the people behind the restaurant, including the restaurant group’s executive chef Chris Coleman and Hell’s Kitchen alumni and Mazi chef de cuisine Whit Thomas. Tickets include your meal and gratuity; beverages sold separately.

MENU

On the table:
Grilled Bread, good olive oil, oregano, honey
Whipped Feta, roasted olives
Black Walnut Muhammara, pomegranate
Hummus, lemon & parsley

First:
Scallop Crudo, ajoblanco, pickled grape, serrano
Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, capers, mustard, mizuna, parmigiano

Second:
Lion’s Mane Shawarma, garlic sauce, collard greens wrap, dukkah
Braised Beans, charred tomato brodo, confit tuna, chile crumbs

Third:
Tuna Kofta, tzatziki, pickled cucumber, herbs
M’Battan, beef-stuffed potato, spicy tomato sauce
Chicken Circassian Toast, black walnut sauce, pickled veg, honey, sumac

Fourth:
Baklava Sundae, walnut cake, honey gelato, honey meringue, phyllo
Tahini Mousse, dark chocolate, pomegranate, black sesame, mint
