Unpretentious Cooking: Beer Cocktails
A make-your-own beer cocktail bar for the Super Bowl
I miss attending sporting events: the food, the beer, and the energy of the crowds. To make up for the lack of sports camaraderie with strangers and friends this year, I’m getting a little creative. I’m scaling down the number of beers we consume in our quarantine pod and making a make-your-own beer cocktail bar –– a selection of beers with an assortment of mixers and garnishes. These drinks are easy to execute with very few ingredients needed. Fill a pint glass about three-quarters with beer and top with a mixer and enjoy the game while finding your favorite beer cocktail combo. It won’t replace what we’re used to, but it will keep things interesting with a smaller group.
