Q: Any news on Mezzo Market in Plaza Midwood?
Tom: Djordje Avramovic is staying tight-lipped about his new bistro/market on the site of the former Segen Food Mart on The Plaza. But a recent stroll by the new digs does look like the property is coming along nicely. As soon as he tells us anything, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Q:  Do you know what will be moving into the former Bistro La Bon spot?
Tom: According to the recent site plans by Crosland/Nuveen, that space has yet to find a tenant. It may be awhile since there is still some serious construction going on at the site on Central Avenue. The Vintage (in two phases) is a massive multi-family, commercial, retail development. So it could be a long time before things start to take shape there.
