When it comes to St. Patrick’s Day, Charlotte has plenty of ways to  — even following Covid-19 restrictions. Here are some of the best ways to enjoy this Irish holiday with local bakeries, bars, and restaurants. We shared our favorite Irish pubs last week.

Midwood Smokehouse will be offering their smoked corned beef plate with cabbage this upcoming St. Patrick’s Day. You can order this from one of their five locations, but this dish will only be offered on Wednesday, March 17.

Patrick’s Gourmet Catering is delivering a special St. Patrick’s menu this upcoming Wednesday and Thursday. Their St. Patrick’s menu includes Guinness slow braised corned beef, cabbage with bacon lardons, yellow dutch potatoes, and vinaigrette flourless chocolate cake with Bailey’s Irish cream sauce.

Santé will be celebrating with an Irish-inspired menu this St. Patrick’s Day. The menu features Irish sausage with colcannon, Guinness-battered cod, roasted shallot with whiskey sauce, and Bailey’s Irish creme brûlée.

Sir Edmond Halley’s is offering a take-out family meal, which serves four to six, and is about $50. This meal includes corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, Irish egg rolls, and spicy mustard. Menu is available Wednesday, March 17, and hours range from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Spindle Bar in Optimist Hall will be offering a variety of St. Patrick’s Day drinks Wednesday, March 17 through Sunday, March 21. These include cocktails featuring Lucky Charms orgeat, bourbon, cereal milk, egg whites and more. They are also holding a “Lucky Charm” giveaway that allows you to receive a surprise cocktail, and a pot of gold that’s good for another free cocktail. You can also order cocktails to-go if you’d like to take them home.

Wentworth & Fenn will have a variety of St. Patrick’s Day desserts and pastries, including Jameson whiskey truffles, shamrock macarons, Irish soda bread, and more. The bakery will be featuring these all week, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
