Copain quietly opened a storefront last week. Jim Noble’s bakery and prepared foods store launched in 2018 with catering and pre-orders only, and orders could be picked up at Rooster’s. Copain now has a physical presence inside the atrium behind Rooster’s on Morrison Boulevard, where shoppers can stop in and browse or pick up pre-orders.
The shop sells the pastries and breads it has become known for, such as a classic crispy baguette, all baked daily on-site. Charcuterie, cheeses, and prepared meals are also available for grab-and-go purchases, with wine and beer to pair with it. A selection of local produce and meats is also available, along with kitchen staples — things like eggs and dairy items — from local farms.
Copain is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. You can find Copain by cutting through Rooster’s, or walking directly into the atrium from the doors to the left of the restaurant. —Kristen Wile
