Canned cocktails for your Labor Day weekend

Our five picks include a spicy bloody Mary

Summer vacations might be over, but there are still a few weeks of summer to enjoy — including Labor Day weekend! This summer I spent my time reviewing and picking my top spritzerswhite wines , and red wines by the can. For Labor Day and my last pick of canned adult beverages, I have my favorite top canned cocktails. My only rule is the product must be accessible in North Carolina.  —Justin Burke-Samson

Conniption American Dry Gin & Tonic
Durham Distillery

A lightly carbonated cocktail with a blend of Meyer lemon, orange, and lime. A great beverage for sitting on the porch during the afternoon in late summer.

Vodka Madras
Southern Tier Distilling Co.

A juicy cocktail with cranberry, orange, and lime juice mixed with hints of chamomile and cardamom for a sweet and savory cocktail.

Spicy Bloody Mary
Cutwater Spirits

Brunch in a can! This spicy bloody Mary is packed with flavor of tomatoes, spices, and a blend of peppers mixed with Fugu vodka.

Greyhound
Cocktail Squad

A classic canned cocktail for old souls. A slight carbonation of vodka, grapefruit, and a hint of salt. Serve over ice with a lemon twist and sprig of rosemary or drink straight out of the can.

Bramble Mule
Cardinal Spirits

Get your last minute hints of the tropics with this fruity mule. Hints of raspberry, hibiscus, and ginger makes this a refreshing cocktail to soak up the last days of summer.
