Q: Can CLT StrEATs Festival happen a different week next year? Not CMS Spring Break!
Kristen: Ugh, I’m sorry! I know, it’s not the best timing for everyone. Hopefully it works out better next year, but with the event being a part of Charlotte SHOUT!, it needs to take place between March 31 and April 16. Weather-wise, we need to be at the end of that window, and we didn’t want to have the event taking place during Easter or Passover, which limits us a bit. We did hope to avoid spring break if possible, but this year, it just wasn’t possible.

Q: Any updates on Amelie’s Uptown reopening?
Kristen: I haven’t heard anything since the Biz Journals’ initial report that it was happening. I’ll check in!

Q: A question I would really like help with is figuring out Charlotte food trucks. What are the best eats and more importantly, is there an easier way than searching Instagram to figure out where these trucks are located? If not, could you please make some sort of a list of food trucks and their IG handle and/or website?
Kristen: This is a great question! There’s really not another better way than social media if you’re looking for a specific truck. There’s an online tracker, but it’s not comprehensive. Check it out here. We’ll work on a list of some of our top trucks and their social handles!
