Christmas is right around the corner, which means it’s time to make your holiday meal lists and check them twice. Whether you’re looking to dine-in or takeout food and treats, these Charlotte area restaurants and shops have you covered. 

Dine-In

Angeline’s, Uptown 
The holiday menu includes chopped salad, grilled branzino, pan-seared salmon, bolognese, roasted mushrooms, crispy Brussels sprouts, and more. Christmas Eve hours are from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. for brunch and dinner is from 5-9 p.m. Christmas day hours are 8 a.m-11 a.m. for breakfast and dinner from 2-8 p.m.

The Asbury, The Dunhill Hotel, Uptown
The restaurant will serve a three-course dinner menu on Christmas Eve (5-9 p.m.) and Christmas Day (4-7 p.m) — $55/adult and $25/children under 12. Includes complimentary parking in the Fifth Third Bank parking garage behind The Dunhill Hotel. Make a reservation online.

Copper, Dilworth
The long-established Indian restaurant on East Boulevard will offer its full à la carte menu from 5 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Day. Make a reservation online.

Gallery Restaurant, The Ballantyne Hotel/Ballantyne
Offering a five-course prix fixe dinner 4-9:30 p.m. on Christmas Day. Options include venison tartare, cioppino, coriander-spiced duck breast, and Black Forest bûche de noël. $99 — additional wine pairing available for $52. Make a reservation online.

Mico Restaurant, Grand Bohemian Hotel/Uptown
Offering a three-course prix fixe dinner inspired by the flavors of South America and Argentina, noon-8 p.m. Christmas Day. Options include, onion & brie tartlet, vegan paella, lamb loin, and chai crème brûlée. $125. Make a reservation online.

Napa, multiple locations 
Christmas Eve dinner includes roasted chestnut and butternut squash soup, braised lamb shank, filet mignon, pan-roasted salmon, hot cocoa cheesecake, and more. $60. Make a reservation online.

Steak 48, SouthPark
The restaurant will serve its regular menu on Christmas Eve and is open for extended hours from 12- 9:45 p.m. Menu items include fresh burrata, roasted beet salad, ahi fillet, prime steakhouse meatloaf, whipped praline sweet potatoes, and more. Make a reservation online.

Waffle House, multiple locations
Unless there’s a major catastrophic weather event, you can depend on this Southern icon to be serving up waffles, eggs, patty melts, and your scattered, smothered, and covered on Christmas and every other day of the year.

Takeout/Catering

Calle Sol, SouthPark location only
Have a latin-inspired holiday with items like Panca turkey breast, lechon (pork), glazed fingerling sweet potatoes, black beans, solterito salad, rice, and banana pudding tres leches cake. Must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance. Available for pick up December 22-24. Order online.

Copain, SouthPark
Offerings include country ham biscuits, smoked turkey breast, bourbon braised collard greens, cranberry relish, French toast bake, mini cream puffs, coconut cake, and more. Order online by December 18. 

Mac’s Speed Shop, multiple locations 
Holiday packages include ham or brisket, three sides, and more. $120-$300. Á la carte items include deviled eggs, pecan pie, and more. Pick up on Dec. 21. Order online by December 18.

Mano Bella Artisan Foods, SouthPark location only
Order take-out family-sized trays of sausage & ricotta cannelloni, focaccia, salads, and tiramisu, as well as assorted cookie boxes for your holiday parties and Christmas Eve/Christmas. 48-hour advance notice is requested. The last day to order is 6 p.m. Sunday, December 22. Place orders in-store or online.

Midwood Smokehouse, multiple locations 
Menu items include spiral-cut boneless ham, pulled chicken, broccoli casserole, pepper jack cornbread, classic mac and cheese, barbecued baked beans, banana pudding, and more. They are available for pickup on December 23-24. Order online. 

Reid’s Fine Foods, multiple locations 
Offerings include sliced beef tenderloin, free-range turkey, lobster tails, mashed potatoes, cinnamon sweet rolls, shrimp cocktail, apple pie, pecan pie, and more. Primary pick-up dates are December 23 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and December 24 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Complete orders by December 21 at 5 p.m. for best availability. Renaissance Pâtisserie, SouthPark 
The Christmas dinner package includes a choice of entree, three sides, soup, salad, bread, and bûche de Noël. Other pastry options include red Santa tiramisu, peppermint cheesecake, and gingerbread croissants. Order online by midnight on December 21.

Rosemont, Elizabeth
The restaurant’s Holiday Party Pack serves up to eight people and includes a five-pound garlic and herb-crusted prime rib (with au jus and truffled horseradish dijonnaise), whipped Yukon gold potatoes, and roasted Brussels sprouts (with bacon-spiced cranberries and parmesan). $225. Crab dip ($60) and a cheese and charcuterie board ($70) are also available à la carte. Order online.

Salted Melon, South End 
Menu offerings include free-range turkey, beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, apple pie, and more. Pickup December 23-24 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Order online by 5 p.m. on December 21. 

Something Classic
Menu options include banana walnut bread, cranberry pumpkin bread, mountain apple cake, and more. Holiday cocktails and sweet and savory trays are also available for purchase. Place orders at 704-377-4202. 

Sweet Lew’s BBQ, Belmont 
The holiday menu includes deviled eggs, sausage balls, baked mac and cheese, herb-roasted potatoes, brisket, smoked ham, cherry cobbler, Oreo dirt pie, and more. Order online. 

Roots Catering, Southside Park
Menu items include kale and artichoke dip, classic shrimp cocktail, sharp cheddar and cider fondue, prime rib, roasted turkey, classic au gratin potatoes, ginger molasses cookies, and more. Order online by noon on December 20. 

Your Farms, Your Table, Wesley Heights
Menu offerings include bibb chopped salad, roasted, dry-aged prime rib, fall vegetable casserole, apple bread pudding, and more. $175+ Lasagna trays will also be offered. Serve 12. $150. Pick up from 5-6 p.m. on December 23. Order online by December 15.

The 7th Street restaurant is selling its noted pecan pie for your holiday table. Order by 5 P.M., Thursday, December 19 for pickup Monday, December 23, 5-10 P.M. Order online.

Milk Glass Pie 
The holiday menu includes a holiday quiche, triple pecan thumbprint cookies, eggnog custard pie, and more.  Pick up December 14 and 21. Order online.
