Q&A: Kentucky Mules and Inauguration Bernie
Each week, we answer your questions about food and drink in Charlotte
Q: Can you post a photo of Inauguration Bernie dining in Charlotte?
Kristen: Thank you for this brilliant idea. This is posted on Instagram, and we’re quite proud of what we came up with. Check it out! Also, thank you for this question. It was a fun one!
Q: I’m spending time in Hilton Head this May with family. Do you have any recommendations for a private chef?
Kristen: I don’t just yet, but stay tuned! If you have a favorite restaurant in Charlotte (if you’re willing to pay travel costs) or in Hilton Head, I’d recommend reaching out to their executive chef on Instagram to see if they’d be interested. If restaurants are as slow as they are right now come May, there’s a good chance they’d be up for it.
Q: I’m not a fan of vodka. Is there something else I could use in these mules?
Kristen: Totally! If you’re not interested in a traditional mule, you can substitute bourbon and make it a Kentucky Mule. You can also share the kit with a vodka-drinking friend, and mix one Moscow Mule and one Kentucky Mule and trade notes!
