Q: Are there any good breakfast tacos in Charlotte?
UP: Earl’s Grocery! They serve a great breakfast taco with pork belly, kimchi, and an egg. Another fun option is the breakfast tacos at Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen, which are delicious but not traditional. Instead of a taco shell, the tacos are pancakes that are wrapped around bacon and scrambled eggs and served with a spiced maple syrup on the side. They’re available during Saturday brunch. Other options include the breakfast burrito at Reid’s Fine Foods in Uptown, and the breakfast burrito from Sweet Lew’s on weekends.

Q: Are any restaurants doing anything special to support the UNCC community?
UP: Not that we’ve heard of, but we’ll definitely keep an ear out and update this post if we hear of anything!
