    Haymaker ending weekday lunch service

The Uptown restaurant will remain open for dinner and weekend brunch

Uptown restaurant Haymaker is ending its breakfast and lunch services, the restaurant shared in its newsletter. The restaurant will remain open for Saturday and Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., as well as open for dinner nightly at 5 p.m.

Haymaker is owned by chef William Dissen, known for his standout Asheville restaurant The Market Place. The restaurant’s menu brings traditional Southern dishes and ingredients into a modern era. Overlooking Romare Bearden park, the stunning dining room has a sophisticated feel with blues and golds.

See the restaurant’s full announcement of its new hours below.

Beginning this Saturday, we will be open for Dinner Monday through Sunday from 5 p.m. until close. Our weekend Brunch will be offered Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. With fall here and the holidays approaching we’ve decided to focus on these two dining occasions and no longer offer coffee service and lunch.

Also of interest in the newsletter: Haymaker is currently serving Halloween-themed cocktails to get diners in the spooky spirit.  —Kristen Wile
