The Cotswold location of Bistro La Bon is now closed. The Plaza Midwood mainstay opened its second location in Cotswold in late 2018, taking a space adjacent to Y2 Yoga in Cotswold Village. It was a much smaller restaurant than the original space, with room for about 35 diners inside and a more compact menu.

“We’re testing the waters, just seeing if it’s something that can potentially expand,” general manager Miguel Cabeda told us when the restaurant opened, “but we also want to make sure we don’t go way off the concept.”

The Plaza Midwood location of Bistro La Bon remains open. Central Square, the shopping center that houses the restaurant, will soon be redeveloped, however. Neighboring restaurant Yama Izakaya has already closed, citing the impending changes to Central Square and plans to seek a new space.
