Where to pre-order Thanksgiving to-go in Charlotte
Restaurants and caterers are offering pick-up and delivery

Thanksgiving plans remain uncertain for many right now, and pre-order deadlines for local turkeys are rapidly approaching. If you suddenly find yourself celebrating solo or with a big group a week before Thanksgiving, it may be time to continue the trend of 2020 and pivot, ordering from a restaurant instead of cooking at home. Here’s where to get Thanksgiving to go from restaurants and caterers this year. Stay tuned for a separate guide on where to order Thanksgiving dessert, as well as where to dine at a restaurant on the holiday.
Another?! Food Truck
Peri-peri seasoned turkey is the centerpiece of the holiday feast from this food truck, with sides that include rice stuffing, corn pudding, braised greens, and smoked apple pie. Order by Nov. 20 for pick-up on Thanksgiving. $225, serves 4-6.
Blue Stem
The new catering venture from former Evoke chef Oscar La Fuente delivers a full Thanksgiving meal to your home, with soup and salad appetizers, an oven-ready whole turkey, and sides that include stuffing, green beens and mushrooms, heirloom carrots, and garlic mashed potatoes, with apple or pumpkin pie for dessert. Order by Nov. 16 for delivery on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. $275 for 6-8, plus service and delivery fees.
Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
When ordering from Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen, you’re only responsible for your turkey. Select desired sides among a large number of options, including several that can be gluten-free or vegan. Mashed sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, smoked cauliflower and butternut squash, glazed carrots, stuffing, and more are on the menu. Order by Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. for pick-up Nov. 24 or Nov. 25. Sides $33 and serve 4-6.
Copain
Everything is a la carte at Copain, with a long list of options, including dips, shrimp cocktail, biscuits, salads, and more for starters; smoked turkey, beef tenderloin, meatballs, ham, or chicken proteins; and classic holiday sides. Breakfast, breads, and sweets are also available. Mains $45 to $120 and serve 4-6, sides $20 to $25 and serve 4-6.
Dogwood Southern Table
Start your meal with a salad, then dig into roasted turkey breast, cranberry mostarda, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, beets with goat cheese and candied pecans, stuffing, and gravy. $150, feeds four. Order by Nov. 21 for pickup on Nov. 25.
Dressler’s Birkdale
Each location of Dressler’s has a slightly different offering, with this one serving turkey breast, gravy and relish, green bean casserole, butternut squash, and mashed potatoes with half of a key lime pie for dessert. $150, serves 4. Order by Nov. 21 for pickup on Nov. 25.
Dressler’s Metropolitan
Order a classic Thanksgiving meal, with roasted turkey breast, gravy and cranberry relish, glazed carrots, green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes, with half a pumpkin pie for dessert. $150, serves four. Order by Nov. 21 for pickup on Nov. 25.
Fine & Fettle
Serve turkey or porchetta — or both, depending on how many you’re ordering for — and your choice of classic Southern sides, with pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and apple cobbler available for dessert. Order via email by Nov. 21 for pickup on Thanksgiving from 9 a.m. to noon. $75 for 4 to 6 people up to $150 for 10-12 people.
The Goodyear House
Select some favorites from this NoDa restaurant’s menu — such as marinated shrimp, smoked cashew mac-and-cheese, or butter bean spread — to serve on your own table, or go classic with items such as brioche stuffing or scalloped potatoes. Also available for purchase are the restaurant’s goopy sauce to slather on Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches and a kit to make turkey soup with your extra turkey. Order via e-mail by Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. for pickup on Nov. 26. Sides $18-$20 each or $105 for all five.
Harper’s SouthPark
Order your turkey roasted or cajun fried, and select your sides from garlic mashed red potatoes, squash casserole, green beans, grilled asparagus, and mac-and-cheese. Dessert options are apple or chocolate pecan pie. Order by Nov. 22 via phone at 704-366-6688 for pick up on Thanksgiving day between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Turkey $60, sides $12 for small (serves 4-5) or $24 for large (serves 12), pies $18.
Leah & Louise
Select proteins of braised beef or smoked chicken and sides, or go vegetarian with mac-and-cheese as your main dish. Add on a sweet potato pie for dessert or a fall cocktail kit. Pick up on Nov. 23 between 1 and 5 p.m. $65 ($50 for vegetarian), serves 4-6.
Mimosa Grill
This Uptown restaurant’s holiday includes a seasoned and brined turkey resting on veggies, ready to go in your oven. Select your appetizers from a list that includes deviled eggs and shrimp cocktail as well as four sides, which include braised collard greens, cornbread stuffing, and green bean casserole, with pie for dessert. Order by Nov. 22 via phone at 704-343-0700 for pick up at Mimosa Grill Thanksgiving eve or Thanksgiving Day. $195, serves 4-5. Upgrade from turkey breast to a whole turkey for an additional $55. Add sides for $9 each.
Noble Smoke
Pick up a smoked Thanksgiving turkey breast with your choice of three classic barbecue sides and slaw or cranberry sauce. $160, serves 4-6. Order by Nov. 21 for pickup on Nov. 24 or Nov. 25.
Patrick’s Gourmet
Customize your meal to any size party, Each meal includes butternut squash soup, salad, mashed potatoes, haricots verts, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pecan or pumpkin pie, with turkey ballotine as the main course. Parties of eight or more get a whole turkey. $40 per person. Order by Nov. 22 for pick up Nov. 25 or Nov. 26.
The Porter’s House
Turkey breast, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cornbread, roasted vegetables, and gravy and cranberry relish make for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Bread pudding is the dessert offering. $150, serves four. Order by Nov. 18 for pickup on Nov. 25.
Red Salt
The city’s latest celebrity chef-run restaurant, Red Salt inside Le Meridien Hotel, is serving dinner to go for four or six. Along with a pre-cooked turkey, meals include gravy, cranberry sauce, Brussels sprouts, fingerling potatoes, popovers, and stuffing. For dessert is apple pie, pumpkin pie, or cheesecake pops. One dessert included with meals for four, two included with meals for six. Order via this form by Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. for Nov. 24 pick-up. $200 for four, $300 for six.
Reid’s Fine Foods
Turkey is an option with pick-up from this upscale marketplace, with cooked or uncooked turkey breasts and whole birds available, but you can also select a beef tenderloin, ham, or duck main course. This meal is customizable from the style of stuffing — cornbread or classic — to your choice of four potato options among the many sides, as well as soup starters and hors d’oeuvres. Order via phone from Reid’s in Myers Park or SouthPark by Nov. 21 for pickup on Nov. 24 or Nov. 25. Cooked whole turkeys $80-$120, sides $17-$18 and serve 4-6.
Sea Level NC
Give your holiday a seaside twist ordering from this Uptown restaurant, which is offering confit turkey or beef tenderloin in various sizes as well as shrimp cocktail and raw oyster appetizers. Sides include oyster stuffing, lobster mac, green bean casserole, and sweet potato gratin. Order by Nov. 22 by noon for pick-up on Nov. 25. Mains $24-$45 for 1-2 people up to $96-$180 for 4-6 people, sides $20 and serve 4-6.
Something Classic
Select an entire dinner for four to six, turkey included, or select sides a la carte, such as braised Brussels sprouts, sweet potato souffle, and sausage and cornbread stuffing. Order by Nov. 19 at midnight for free delivery on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. Dinner package $240, sides $13 to $15.
Sweet Lew’s BBQ
Get a whole roast turkey, bone-in turkey breast, ham, smoked pork loin, smoked salmon, or prime rib as your celebration’s main course. Sides and dessert are served by the third-pan (serves 2-6), half-pan (serves 8-12) or full pan (serves 14-20), and include mac-and-cheese, collards, green beans, and potato hash, with gravy by the quart. Order your meal for four to six people, seven to 10 people, or 11 to 14 people. Chef Sam Diminich serves local turkey breast and gravy, a fall salad, mac and cheese, stewed green beans, sweet potato casserole, and stuffing, with pumpkin pie tarts for dessert. $260, serves 4. Order by Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. for pickup on Nov. 25 between 5 and 7 p.m.
