Q: I’m planning to have lunch with a friend next week in Uptown. Any good sit-down recommendations?
Kristen: Yes! I just mentioned in this morning’s newsletter how great Fin & Fino’s three-course lunch is, and priced at a steal of $25. For something a bit quieter,  you could head to Sea Level N.C. If seafood isn’t your thing, try Rooster’s. It’s not quite in Uptown, but just outside you’ll find Community Matters Cafe, which has a more casual yet still delicious menu.

Q: What’s happening for Valentine’s Day?

Q: Somehow, I’m already nostalgic for holiday food and craving a Thanksgiving type of meal. Besides Cracker Barrel, are there any local places that offer, turkey, stuffing, and all the fixing’s year around?
Tom: Landmark Diner. Their roast turkey with stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce was even featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
