Q: What is Limani’s opening date?
Kristen: According to a representative for the New York-based restaurant, the target opening is within 3 months. Limani, an upscale Mediterranean seafood spot, will open in Phillips Place.

Q: I am starting to plan a block party for my street. Wondering if you had some recommendations for mobile bars or desserts or something fun. I don’t think we have enough people for a food truck, and I’m guessing that they require a minimum guaranteed spend. Wondered instead about a pop-up Mimosa bar, or dessert-and-wine trailer, or anything a little smaller that would be fun. 
Kristen: Can I move onto your block?! Two Scoops, King of Pops, and Pop Bar all have small trucks and stands. Wentworth & Fenn might be interested with her trailer. I know she was working on selling it, but she was still at the Camp North End market recently. You could also try The Chili Man. I’m not sure what the indoor/outdoor situation is for your party, but a grazing table might be a cool idea if there’s an indoor space! Check out Babe & Butcher. If you have an idea of how much food you need, you could always reach out to have a catering drop-off from folks like Mad Dash, Jimmy Pearls, or Hot Box. Or, you could order family-style from Sweet Lew’s.

For mobile bars, Black Moth Bar or The Tipsy Traveler are great places to start. In North Carolina, alcohol laws are complicated, so just a heads up, you might run into some issues if it’s not a home or venue with a liquor permit.

Q: I need to have a charcuterie board delivered to a friend in Fort Mill. Babe & Butcher and Off The Block don’t deliver that far. Any ideas?
