    Good value from South Africa

Kumusha 2020 Chenin Blanc from Breedekloof, South Africa

On The Nose: Beautiful medium-gold color, light citrus, peach, mango
On The Palate: Crisp acidity rounded out with tropical fruit and medium finish
On The Plate: Pair with hearty salads, artichoke frittata, lemon chicken, potato kugel

Our Take: This wine will be a regular pour for spring and summer at my house.

Fun Fact: The winemaker, Tinashe Nyumudok, was originally from Zimbabwe. He moved to Cape Town, South Africa and started as a cutlery polisher at a restaurant, where he moved up to server, then learned about and fell in love with wine. He has numerous credentials from a variety of wine schools, and has competed internationally in sommelier tastings. His wines come from a variety of locations in South Africa. This chenin blanc is grown at 1,000 feet in the southwest wine region of Breedekloof.
